Full Article: Changing the game for customers: HPE’s acquisition of Juniper Networks offers compelling network alternative | HPE

HPE has officially closed its acquisition of Juniper Networks, combining two best-in-class networking portfolios to deliver a comprehensive, cloud-native IT platform with AI-native operations. This positions HPE to meet the growing demand for modern, secure networks as the foundation of hybrid cloud and AI.

Networking is more critical than ever in the Age of AI, where massive growth in users, devices, and data has increased complexity. AI requires networks that not only connect but also adapt, scale, and learn intelligently. HPE and Juniper together provide an industry-leading, secure, AI-native network designed for these needs.

The combined offering is built on three pillars:

  1. AI-native Operations – First-of-its-kind, multivendor AI ops with over 10 years of data science and >80% efficacy, integrated into HPE GreenLake.

  2. Complete Client-to-Cloud Portfolio – End-to-end hardware across enterprise, service provider, and cloud domains, managed by a single cloud-native platform.

  3. Integral Security – Unified security portfolio (NAC, SSE, Firewall) under one management system, converging network and security through a common UI and AI engine.

This union empowers customers to both build networks that support AI and use AI to optimize network operations, leveraging HPE Aruba Networking and HPE Juniper Networking as part of a next-generation architecture.

HPE emphasizes that the acquisition reflects shared values of collaboration, innovation, and customer-centricity, setting the stage for rapid integration and customer value. This marks a major milestone in IT transformation, with HPE now leading the way in delivering the secure, intelligent networks required for the hybrid cloud and AI era.

HPE expands ProLiant Gen12 server portfolio, helps customers modernize virtualization and edge computing with AI-driven management

At HPE Discover Las Vegas 2025, HPE announced an expansion of its ProLiant Gen12 server portfolio, delivering stronger security, performance, and efficiency. The update introduces two new servers powered by 5th Gen AMD EPYC processors, optimized for memory-intensive workloads like virtualization and edge deployments, with up to 6TB of memory—double the previous generation. These servers also include the latest iLO 7 silicon-level security, protecting systems from assembly through end-of-life, including safeguards against future quantum threats.

HPE also enhanced Compute Ops Management, its cloud-based server monitoring and management platform, with AI-driven automation to simplify operations, reduce downtime, and accelerate troubleshooting. Benefits include faster root cause analysis, consolidated multi-vendor monitoring, and workflow safeguards against human error, leading to up to 75% less time managing servers, 4.8 fewer downtime hours per server annually, and cost savings of up to $152,000 over three years.

In addition, HPE ProLiant servers now support HPE Morpheus VM Essentials Software, an open virtualization solution that reduces licensing costs by up to 90%, minimizes vendor lock-in, and improves IT management efficiency.

For the edge, HPE announced the ProLiant DL145 Gen11 server as an Azure Local Integrated System, providing seamless integration with Microsoft cloud services. Compact, resilient, and easy to deploy, the DL145 is designed for edge use cases in retail, financial services, manufacturing, and healthcare.

All new servers and software are available immediately, with shipments of the DL325 and DL345 Gen12 beginning in July.
