Is Email Marketing Still Relevant in 2025?
Despite competition from newer digital channels and the daily flood of inbox clutter, email marketing remains highly effective, with 35% of companies reporting ROI as high as 36:1. The best results come from organizations investing significant budget and staff into email campaigns, achieving open rates of 30–40% and click-through rates over 5%.
For partners without big teams or budgets, Cisco Marketing Velocity (MV) levels the playing field. With 98% of MV campaign leads starting from email, its built-in tools help partners run effective demand generation campaigns efficiently—at no extra cost as part of Cisco partner benefits.
Three essentials for getting started: leverage MV’s email capabilities, streamline your approach, and focus on confidence-building basics to quickly improve results.

In 2025, content creation is the most valuable skill in email marketing, but Cisco’s Marketing Velocity (MV) helps partners save time with ready-made content. Partners can browse MV’s content library for email copy blocks, adapt them to their brand, and even refine messaging with generative AI, which nearly half of marketers already use for static copy.
MV also includes pre-built campaign emails (e.g., the AI-Ready Data Center campaign) that can be quickly customized with a logo, contact list, and schedule. Performance can be tracked through MV dashboards with insights into click-through rates (1–3% typical in B2B) and conversions.
For more advanced use, MV supports building newsletters directly in the platform with tools like:
-
Subscription forms (launched in minutes with CYO templates)
-
Dynamic membership rules (automated contact list updates by engagement)
-
Custom email templates (build your own or start from MV’s basics).
With these advanced features, you can go beyond one-off emails to build ongoing campaigns that nurture long-term engagement.

Updates to Cisco's Partner Program : Designed With You. Built for What’s Next

Full Article: Cisco 360 Partner Program Updates: What’s New - Cisco Blogs
Since announcing the Cisco 360 Partner Program last November, Cisco has co-designed it with partners over seven months—taking in feedback, making changes, and releasing updates in real time. This collaboration shaped every part of the program: updates to the Partner Value Index, new tools like the Partner Incentive Estimator, unified learning journeys (Black Belt + Cisco U.), modernized designations, simpler experiences in the Partner Experience Platform, and recognition of certifications like CCNA.
On June 27, Cisco released updated Partner Value Index positions across six portfolios (Networking, Security, Cloud + AI Infrastructure, Collaboration, Services, and Splunk), reflecting partner-driven adjustments to metrics and weighting. Early indicators show progress: in a recent Canalys survey, 49% of partners now rate the program good-to-excellent (up from 42% in May).
The program’s focus remains on partner profitability—maintaining high-value incentives but shifting emphasis toward growth areas such as AI, security, software adoption, renewals, and lifecycle customer engagement. Cisco’s goal is to reward partners who are customer-obsessed, technically strong, service-led, and innovation-focused.
Next Steps:
-
Early Qualification Period (Aug 2025 – Jan 2026): Your highest Partner Value Index during this period will set your launch position in Feb 2026 and lock in benefits/designations through Aug 2027.
-
The structure supports steady progress while protecting partner value.
Bottom Line:
The Cisco 360 Partner Program is a transformation of how Cisco grows with its partners, recognizing real-world partner strengths and aligning rewards to customer outcomes. It’s built on collaboration, designed for long-term profitability, and focused on shared success.
